I am particularly interested in how storytelling can create concrete, positive change in society.

I am a communications specialist and film director.

My work moves between socially engaged projects and cinematic expression.

My background in storytelling gives me a foundation for communication, where my starting point is the question of which messages move people and get them to act.

    I provide communications consulting for various organisations.

  2. 2024–

    Finnish Brain Injury Association

    Communications Specialist

    I work as a communications specialist at the Finnish Brain Injury Association, where I have been preparing the name change due at the end of the year and the renewal of the whole brand, as the association also began to include stroke survivors in 2026. I have broad responsibility for development work relating to the website, AI, campaigns and procurement.

  3. 2023–

    Lapinlahti Film Festival

    Founder and Artistic Director

    In 2023, I founded the free Lapinlahti Film Festival, which has now been held three times in the grounds of the old Lapinlahti mental hospital. The festival is organised by young people for young people and run by volunteers. It gives young people from different Nordic countries a place to show their short films and meet other young filmmakers.

  10. 2004–

    Viestintäkasvatuksen seura

    First camp at the age of 7, now a volunteer

    My own passion for communication goes back to my childhood. Every summer, I was sent for a week to a camp run by Viestintäkasvatuksen seura (a Finnish media education association), where we made a newspaper, a radio programme and videos, and kept the whole camp informed. As a child, I looked forward to that week every year.
