Manian Lapset

Manian Lapset is a short film about sibling relationships and shared trauma.

In the film, the siblings have retreated to the countryside after the success of their first album, when lyrics written by Malin, the sister of the main character Vili, bring shadows of their shared past to the surface.

The film examines the tension between closeness and distance.

Manian Lapset has been part of the programme at Love & Anarchy (Helsinki International Film Festival) and Tampere Film Festival, and it has toured several international film festivals.

Manian Lapset is my BA film, made at Aalto University.
